Inaugural Anishinaabemowin Mamaandodaatiwin a great success!

Bimose Tribal Council’s Education Department recently held its inaugural Anishinaabemowin Mamaandodaatiwin from August 11th to August 14th, 2025, at the beautiful Gichi-Mikinaak Lodge in Vermilion Bay, Ontario. The camp was designed to bring together beginner, intermediate, and advanced speakers of the Anishinaabemowin language for an immersive and enriching week dedicated to language learning and cultural connection.

Important Update Affecting Outstanding and Future Bimose Jordan's Principle Applications

On February 10, 2025, Indigenous Service Canada (ISC) issued an "Operational Bulletin" detailing changes to the procedures for accessing services, products, and supports under the Jordan's Principle intake process.

Building Skills, Building Safety: Bimose Community Members Complete Firefighter Training

Over the past week, members from across Bimose Tribal Council communities have been hard at work completing their SP-100 Wildland Firefighter training, alongside chainsaw operation, WHMIS, and first aid courses. The initiative was put together by Bimose's Technical Services Department.
