Service Period: November 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026 (With potential call-ins before or after these dates in the event of a snowstorm, weather depending.)

General Requirement
Threshold for service: 2 cm of snow accumulation for safety.
Areas to Be Serviced
• Common Area: Roadway (east of Kiizhik School) from Valley Drive up to Daycare: Plowing and Sanding
Kiizhik School
East Side:
• Bus loading zone: Plowing and Sanding
• Trailer/Library Handicapped Ramp: Shovelling and Sanding
• Trailer/Library Main Entry Way: Shovelling and Sanding
• Trailer/Library South Door Entry Way: Shovelling and Sandin
Front/Main Area:
• Main Parking Lot: Plowing and Sanding
• Inside Playground (Front Basketball Court – open gate access): Plowing and Sanding
• Sidewalk from Valley Drive to Main Door: Shovelling and Sanding
• Outside Main Gym Entrance (steps and entry): Shovelling and Sanding
West Side:
• Roadway from Valley Drive to Staff Parking Lot: Plowing and Sanding
• Staff Parking Lot: Plowing and Sanding
• Dumpster Area: Shovelling in front of Dumpster for access.
• West School Entranceway: Shovelling and Sanding
• Outside Gym Door (West Side): Shovelling and Sanding
Daycare
• Parking Lot: Plowing and Sanding
• Main Entrance: Shovelling and Sanding
• Pathway from Daycare to Play Area (uphill): Shovelling and Sanding
• Emergency Pathway (Daycare Back Door to ASA Building Back Door): Shovelling and Sanding
ASA Building
• Parking Lot and Short Access Road: Plowing and Sanding
• Main Entrance: Shovelling and Sanding
• Back Door: Shovelling and Sanding
Contractor Requirements
• Provide own equipment and materials for snow removal and sanding.
• Ensure timely completion after each snowfall as per accumulation threshold.
• Be available for on-call services outside standard dates in case of unexpected weather events.
• Must be insured and capable of working safely on school and daycare property.

• Pricing: Breakdown by location if possible
• Availability (including on-call availability outside service period)

• Kiizhik School and Gaagagegiizhigook Ganawenimaawoswin Wiigiwaam Childcare Centre reserve the right to reject any or all tenders.
• Lowest bid will not necessarily be accepted.
• Selection will be based on experience, availability, equipment, and overall value.
