Registration Deadline Extended for 4th Annual Anishinaabemodaa Conference

Good news for those who may have missed the original registration deadline for the Anishinaabemodaa! Ever Wise Conference. Registration has been extended to January 20, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.

Bimose Tribal Council Inc. invites participants to attend the 4th Annual Anishinaabemodaa Conference, an Anishinaabe-led gathering focused on language, culture, and community. The conference will take place on February 14 and 15, 2026, in Winnipeg, at the Victoria Inn and Conference Centre.

This event is open to youth, Elders and language speakers, education directors and portfolio holders, language teachers, and language enthusiasts. The conference offers opportunities for learning, knowledge sharing, and strengthening Anishinaabemowin through presentations, workshops, and community connection.

Registration Fees
Adult registration is $300.
Students and Elders aged 65 and over may register for $100.
Registration is free for members of Bimose Tribal Council communities.

Payment may be made by cheque payable to Bimose Tribal Council or by electronic money transfer (EMT) to anishinaabemodaa@bimose.ca. Cash payments will not be accepted.

For each member community, Bimose Tribal Council will cover mileage, meals, and accommodations on a first-come, first-served basis for two students (ages 12–22), two language speakers, one education director, and one language teacher. All other participants are responsible for making their own travel and accommodation arrangements.

Please note that no chaperones will be provided for this event, and Bimose Tribal Council will not be responsible for the supervision of youth.
