On October 27, 2025,  Bimsose Tribal Council held our Anishinaabemowin Fall Feast at the Wauzhushk Onigum Roundhouse, celebrating the spirit and tradition of our ancestral language.

During the feast, we honoured Bernice Greene, who recently retired after an incredible 35-year career teaching Anishinaabemowin. From elementary to high school, and even at the college and university levels, she shared her knowledge, passion, and dedication to our language.

Her impact is immeasurable, and we honour her tireless commitment to keeping Anishinaabemowin thriving.
