Early Childhood Educator

We are recruiting for an Early Childhood Educator to work in toddler and/or pre-school rooms at the Gaagagegiizhigook Ganawenimaawoswin Wiigiwaam (GGW) Child Care Centre.  They will assist with daily programming and program development under the guidance and leadership of the Child Care Supervisor.

Daycare staff are responsible to provide a clean, caring, safe and educational program for young children in a group setting.

Technical Services Technologist

The Technical Services Inspector will be responsible for overseeing Bimose Tribal Council’s Technical Services housing initiatives and community planning projects. They will carry out inspections and reporting on all types of buildings and structures to ensure that all construction is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Building Code Act, the Ontario Building Code, and other applicable law.

Anishinaabe Wiidookaa-gagewi Language & Cultural Coordinator

The Anishinaabe Wiidookaa-gagewi is responsible for gathering and coordinating community-based Anishinaabe Language and Cultural activities for the Anishinaabe Student Achievement schools, programs and communities. This position requires an advanced level understanding of Anishinaabemowin and experience supporting cultural activities. They will be asked to participate in community initiatives that support the revival and sustainment of Anishinaabemowin. This position will also meet with Traditional Knowledge Keepers.

Receptionist

Bimose Tribal Council is seeking an individual with excellent organizational and time management skills. The Receptionist is the first point of contact and will be responsible for implementing office procedures and providing administrative support to management and staff with a focus on Human Resources and Finance.

Economic Development Advisor

The Economic Development Advisor will provide advisory services to member First Nations served by Bimose Tribal Council. They will establish and develop the Economic Development Program with the formulation, drafting, planning and implementing of economic strategies, development of business plans, business planning and proposal development.

Elementary Teacher – Full Time

The Migisi Sahgaigan School Board is accepting applications for an Elementary Teacher. The Elementary School Teacher is responsible for the overall program delivery in their classroom at Migisi Sahgaigan School. The Elementary School Teacher will ensure students attending have programming and support meeting their own unique educational, emotional, social, and physical needs.
