The Technical Services Unit provides advisory services to member First Nations regarding Fire Protection by:

• Assisting communities in the development of Fire Protection Programs
• Assisting in the creation of volunteer fire departments
• Providing informational and educational training for community members
• Undertaking compliance inspections on all types of public and private buildings
